Behind The Scenes
The Market Gap: Annual sales meetings are traditionally flat, disengaged, and full of dry PowerPoint decks. Tech Data's corporate team struggled to inspire and motivate thousands of sales reps around unified company goals, turning high-stakes corporate launches into uninspired, passive data dumps.
Â
My Role: Design and direct the experiential brand identity, environmental graphics, and dynamic motion assets for Tech Data's National Sales Meeting. I led the visual language from the initial concepting to the live activation, completely redefining the sensory experience of a corporate, global sales kickoff.
Â
Action: We shattered the standard boardroom aesthetic by introducing a heavy, editorial style layout across the entire event footprint. By contrasting massive, raw typography with synchronized, high-impact motion backdrops, we built an immersive live environment that turned corporate directives into a high-octane, rock-and-roll stadium experience.
Â
The Result: The event completely transformed regional corporate standards, sweeping regional design awards for exhibition and brand execution. The bold visual system drove a massive surge in post-event internal engagement and definitively proved that corporate communication can command the energy of a live concert.
